Also don't particularly want to have to use an SDI audio injector or similar. Ideally we'd prefer having to run audio back to the camera input as a lot of the setups we are doing have 2 PTZ cams, that can be combined with a SDI combiner.
Having the screen on the front was really handy too! The Webpresenter fitted so well in numerous different situations for us, most of which involve using the analogue audio. It looks like it's powered from the USB though, so unsure how it not being powered at the time might affect the loop through (which would be looping through to the SDI input on an Echo360 Pro appliance). somone already tried Blackmagic Web Presenter with vMix Especially if its possible to set video codec to MJPEG for the possibilty to run more than one Web Presenter on one PC (usb bandwidth). We've found the Magewell USB Capture SDI Plus which is a possibility, as it at least has audio input and SDI Loop through. We are in the process of designing some new rooms to upgrade at the end of the year. The Webpresenters are embedded into a teaching lecturn at a university, along with the rest of the AV system, and recieve a split of the room audio.
It appears it is getting harder to find the original webpresenters now. BlackMagic have semi recently updated the Webpresenter to a HD version, but have removed ALL the audio inputs apart from the SDI. So we've been using Blackmagic Webpresenters in our rooms to capture SDI cameras, and room audio.
